Spring is here! The snow is melting and the temperatures are rising, which means it's time to get your RV out of hibernation. Time to dust off the cobwebs and assess the condition of your RV both inside and out, and make sure it's in tip-top shape for the season ahead!
To help get you ready for camping season, we've put together a quick and easy-to-follow checklist for you:

Check your tires. Look for things like proper air pressure and cracks in the sidewalls.

Remove protective covers on the inside and the outside.

Check exterior components for damage and make sure all electrical features are working. Look at the lights, turn signals, vents, siding, doors and windows to make sure everything is functioning propery.

Give the inside and outside a thorough cleaning. Remove cobwebs, look for any mold or mildew and check to see if any rodents moved in during the winter months.

Check all your supplies and make sure to throw out anything expired and update/restock items you know you'll need throughout the season.

Wash all your linens, towels and cushion covers (if they can be removed). Air out your drapes and anyhting else that could have collected a musty stuffy smell while locked up during the winter.

Check your fire extinguisher and make sure it's within date and working properly. Be sure to check your carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors, replace the batteries and make sure they're working before you head out on any trips.

Flush and fill the fresh water tanks and check that the freshwater system is operating properly.

Check your battery!

Check all your propane tanks and fill them if needed.

Check your water heater on your gas and your electric.

Check your appliances and make sure theyre all functioning properly.
