Motorists and the general public are advised that Regional Rd. 12 (Mountain St.) will be closed between Regional Rd. 81 (Main St. West) and 130m south of Ridge Rd. West, from Monday, April 15 to Friday May 17, 2019.
The detour routes for the closure are as follows:
- Regional Rd. 81 (Main St. West / East) / Regional Rd. 73 (Fly Rd. / Mud St. East)
Businesses and residents will have access during the closure but may be directed to take an alternate route to get to their destination. Emergency services will also have access as required. School busses, garbage and recycling services will also have access.

Suggested Routes for RV'ers with Motorhomes or Trailers
From Toronto / Hamilton:
- From the QEW
- Take Centennial Parkway North exit
- Turn right on to Centennial Parkway North (Regional Rd 20)
- Turn left and on to Regional Rd 20
From St Catherines / Fort Erie
This route avoids narrow curves, and steeper grades up the escarpment.
- From the QEW
- Take the Victoria Ave (Regional Rd 24) exit
- Turn left on to the South Service Rd
- Turn left on to Victoria Ave
- Turn right on to Fly St (Regional Rd 73), becomes Mud St
- Turn left on to Mountain St (Regional Rd 12)
- Turn right on to Regional Rd 20
