The Benefits to Attending an RV Show

Publish Date: Jan 30, 2020 Author: Ashley Rego Category: Tips

It's the (second) most wonderful time of the year - it's show season!
Attending an RV show can offer so many benefits. Whether you're looking to get into the RV world or you're an experienced RVer, there are several benefits to attending an RV show!

Here are a few reasons you should attend:

1. See the latest trends.

Every year, new models and floor plans are released and this is the place to see what's new in the RV world. It gives you the opportunity to browse the latest and greatest in-person and see what each dealer has to offer for the new year.

2. Get inspired!

Take your camping trips to a whole new level. Going to the shows can help inspire you in so many ways. If you're a first-time buyer, you may want to get an idea of what's out there and what will best suit your needs. If you're an experienced RVer, you may want to get some inspiration for your next RV!

3. Deals, deals deals!

RV shows are especially great if you're looking to take advantage of a great deal. Dealers will typically price units they are bringing to the show to give buyers an opportunity to take advantage of a good deal on the spot. If you're lucky enough, you may get a sweet deal on units from the previous year that dealers are looking to clear out!

4. Get information.

It isn't just an RV show. There are so many other vendors to mingle with while you're there. Speak with local park owners or provincial park reps to find out what they have to offer. Find out about financing from financial institutions and get information from insurance companies. There are a lot of different booths to get information from!

5. Parts & accessories.

At every show, you'll find a HUGE section full of parts and accessories. You can purchase fun camping gear, cleaning supplies, parts for your trailer or motorhome and much more. Sometimes, you'll find there is a show discount - which is an added bonus!

RV shows offer a lot and there is so much to see and do. Make sure you do your research before the show so you have an idea of what you want to look at. Look at the show floorplan, find out which dealers and vendors you want to visit and most importantly...wear comfortable shoes!
